On the afternoon of March 15th, WHBC MYP American Football team performed an open training session on the open field of Jianghan Bay Sports Park. Around 20 team members from MYP Grade 7 and Grade 8 demonstrated sophisticated football skills and great sport spirit.

Following a series of warm-up exercise, the training started with a competing training through which students improved their physical strengthen and power. Then, a student-parent interactive training enlightened the event and highlighted a climax for the training. Through participating in football exercises with the students, parents became students’ best cheerleading supporters. The exciting event was concluded with an offense and defense match. Team members on both sides won applauses and appreciation from the audience. The Open Training event allowed parents get a better picture of students’ school life and also bridged parent-student relationship.
