In the afternoon of Dec. 1, WHBC Junior High School opened the curtain of its first students sports meeting, the students witnessed theirs great physical results with sweat and perseverance.

The sports meeting was fully prepared and implemented by the students themselves. It was emceed by Li Wenshan from MYP class 2. MYP class 2 won the first place in group pulling the rope. Liu Zhengliang from MYP class 2 was the champion, Yang Zhanbo from IEC the second place, Li Bowen from MYP the third place in basketball shots. Through the whole sports meeting, our students demonstrated their passion, self-discipline, fighting and team work spirit.   

In the IB learner profile, its Physical and Healthy subject encourages its learners to become Communicator and Risk takers, sports meeting is the place to see how our students transfer the theory into action. To be the champion is not the most important, what we value most is to create an platform on which our students could fight, communicate, cooperate and help each other in a balanced way.
