2018 Wuhan City Qiaokou District Sing Competition was successfully held in Wuhan No.4 Middle Scholl on September 28th. The choir of Wuhan Britain-China School won the first prize in this competition.

WHBC choir was the seventh choir on the stage. They presented the seventh movement of the Yellow River Chorus—Defending the Yellow River. All the members of WHBC choir were energetic and they all wore school uniforms. During the sing, Yanhao Chen read a famous poem called The Song of Yellow River with Peking Opera tone. This special performing design helped WHBC choir won the first prize in the end.

The preparing time for the sing competition was short. The choir rehearsed only 10 times and then they completed the audition and confirmed the performance form. Because of the short time, all the members were challenged but still enjoyed the progress. Finally, the first prize proves their endeavor really means something, congratulations!
