Hosted by Cambridge Assessment International Education (Cambridge International) and organized by WHBC, the event is being successfully held on October 13-14, 2018 at our Yanhe avenue campus. This year marks the third year in a row that our school has organized such an important event. This is undoubtedly accredited to the highly recognition and approval of Cambridge International for WHBC’s past work, overall school level and hardware facilities. Thanks to the past hosting experience, the training arrangement went even more complete and smooth.

The training was managed by the Cambridge Assessment International Education’s East Asia Professional Development Team. Stephanie Underwood - Additional Mathematics trainer, Mike Painter - Economic trainer, Ian Connor - Physics trainer, Kathryn Foster - Chemical trainer, Business studies trainer Julie Pritchard, Chinese trainer Stella Zhang, English trainer Frances Van Berkel, and Global Perspectives trainer Roger Groenink, all are examiners at Cambridge Assessment International Education. Nearly 200 Chinese and foreign teachers from Cambridge A level schools across the country have participated in the training.

During the two-day course, the trainers taught the professional knowledge of the above 8 subjects, the evaluation requirements of the Cambridge Assessment International Education, and shared the innovative teaching methods of various subjects, etc. The teacher attendees have initiated extensive communications and engaged thorough discussions with regard to the teaching concepts and teaching methods.

The successful holding of this training is not possible without the intensive planning and orderly on-site co-ordinations contributed by members of the WHBC’s professional staff team. In addition, 10 A-level students in our school volunteered to offer bilingual assistance such as helping with registration, guiding, training materials preparations, etc. The proactive and enthusiastic attitude and outstanding comprehensive abilities of the volunteers have left a deep impression on all.

As the organizer of this training, we are very honored to contribute to the development of teachers' professionalism and teaching ability for all the excellent Cambridge International A-Level Schools. We would like to thank the Cambridge Assessment International Education for their recognition and approval of our school!
